S.T.E.A.M

 Today we did a mind map about S.T.E.A.M.  We had to do this on lucid chart and it was hard to do this because it made my body go hot and we and we had to some colour. First we had to put in the colour and then we had to put in the word. We had to copy it from the whiteboard and on the board was Science, Technology, Maths, Art, and Engineering.

Cats

My favorite animals are cats. They can hear and they can sniff the
ground.They also can run fast and they are cute and they are so,
when they grow they do tricks.They can hear and they jump up
and they go and run to the front door. They also can climb trees
but, when dogs catch cats they go on a tree and then dog start
climbing the trees.When they are sleeping they are quiet.
They can also play with wools.

                                       Today I drew a picture of what astronaut eat. Here is a screenshot of my picture.

At the end we had to do our space art and we had to put the moon on a black paper and we ad to frick  the white pain on the paper and we had  to cut the the planet and we had to and the moon and then we had to take a photo and then we had to put it on our blog.

The Zoo Trip

Auckland Zoo Recount

When we arrived at the zoo, we went to see the red pandas and then

I saw two on top of the tree and they were sleeping in the tree
I said it was cute I and Fala and then we went to Australia we saw some meerkats
It was trying to come on my hand but it didn't.

Next we went with Hohepa first we saw two cheetah and one was on the ground and it was sleeping.
One was in the sun rexl and the cheetah can run fast we went to see the baboons and I could not see it
but miss mae show me. Then I saw it and then it stand up and then it had a pink bum. 

Then we went to see the zoo Keeper opened Burma mouth and everyone said ohhhh and then we saw
the flamingos. They were making lots of sound and then we went to the steps and  we had our lunch.

We saw some ostrich, and some zebra, and some giraffe the zebra were eating hay.
The giraffe were eating the trees and then the ostrich were at the gate all together.

Finally we went to the playground and then we put our bags on the chair.

First I try the little one but it was not that fun. I try the big side and it was fun 
I side down on my stomach and it was cool and then I try it again and again.
Miss kirkpatrick said go to your adult and then I said everyone side down but everyone was still
standing there.

         Today our poem was at the sea side. We had to draw a picture of our self at the beach.

What's My Number?

Today in class I did a maths activity. It was called What's my number ? We had to guess what the number was and we had to triple it and add 8 and get the same answer. We used Trail and Error to find the answer. We tried 9 fist but it was too big so we tried 7. It was still too big so we tried 5, we were 2 off so we tried 4. That was the right number.

Celebrating Matariki

On Friday we were celebrating Matariki in the hall. The first group was the Junior Kapa Haka. After the Pacifica group came up and then they stared to dance. The Ukulele group played the song, Shotgun. We watched a video about the 7 stars of Matariki.
